Seeing Life From a Higher Perspective

Feb 21, 2024

I had been working non-stop for months, no breaks, no distractions, just pure grind. But at some point, even the strongest minds need to step back, not to escape, but to see the bigger picture. So when a few close people suggested a trip to Bandarban, I said yes. Not because I needed a vacation, but because I wanted a new perspective.

The journey itself was a test of patience. Winding roads, endless hills, and sharp turns that made you respect the driver’s skill. The deeper we went into the hills, the weaker the phone signal got. No social media, no unnecessary texts. Just reality, raw and untouched.

When we finally reached the top of Nilgiri, I stepped out and looked around. For the first time in a long time, I felt small. Not in a weak way, but in a humbling way. The mountains stretched endlessly, the clouds moved like they owned the sky, and I realized, most of the things we stress about in the city are nothing compared to the scale of the world.

The locals lived a different life. Kids ran barefoot, playing with sticks and stones, yet their laughter was louder than any rich kid’s. The shop owners didn’t rush customers; they sat, smiled, and talked like time wasn’t money. Meanwhile, back in the city, everyone’s in a rush, chasing things that don’t even make them happy.

That’s when it hit me, most people are trapped. Not by money, not by lack of opportunities, but by their mindset. They think success is about having more, but sometimes, it’s about needing less.

I spent the rest of the trip just observing. The way the locals lived, the way the mountains stood tall without needing validation, the way time felt slower but more meaningful. And when I finally left, I knew one thing for sure

Most men live blind. They chase distractions, afraid to face themselves. But real strength isn’t just about winning; it’s about knowing what truly matters.

That trip didn’t change my grind—it sharpened it. Because now, I know what I’m really fighting for.

You have to win this game, no matter what. There will be hardships, there will be the toughest times. You'll be broken, you'll be hopeless, you'll feel like dying, but if you just stick with it and don't give up, things will change.
