The Iron Never Lies

I woke up feeling like I got hit by a truck. My body was sore, my mind was tired, and for a split second, I thought about skipping the gym. But that’s what weak men do, make excuses. So I got up, threw on my hoodie, and stepped out.

The streets were still waking up. Some people were already hustling, some still asleep, wasting time. I walked past a tea stall where a group of men sat, gossiping about politics and cricket. Same routine, same cycle, no progress. I had no interest in being like them.

By the time I reached the gym, I had only one goal: push past yesterday’s limits. The smell of iron and sweat filled the air. No distractions, no small talk, just raw focus. I loaded the bar heavier than usual. First rep, easy. Second, felt the weight. Third, my muscles screamed. But I wasn’t stopping. I locked in, controlled my breathing, and pushed.

People stared. Some were impressed, some probably thought I was insane. Didn’t matter. The only validation I needed was from the man in the mirror.

By the end of the session, my arms were shaking. My body begged me to stop, but my mind told me to keep going. That’s the difference between men who stay average and men who rise.

Walking out of the gym, I felt a mix of exhaustion and pride. The same streets I walked earlier now looked different. Not because they changed, but because I did.

Most people live the same day over and over again, never pushing, never growing. That’s not me. And if you want to win in life, that can’t be you either.

You either dominate or stay weak. The choice is yours.

You have to win this game, no matter what. There will be hardships, there will be the toughest times. You'll be broken, you'll be hopeless, you'll feel like dying, but if you just stick with it and don't give up, things will change.
